Good news crypto freaks. Ledger SAS has reached out to us to inform us that Ledger Live now supports ERC-20 tokens. The company just released the latest version of Live; v.1.14.0. The new application updates now allow crypto holders to securely store and manage 22 cryptocurrency coins in real-time. The company took the live app to the next level by adding ERC-20 tokens support. The list of supported tokens is pretty extensive; over 1,250 ERC-20 based tokens.
What are ERC-20 Tokens?
ERC-20 is a Ethereum blockchain technical standard. As of today, a number of 208,165 ERC-20 based tokens can be found on the Ethereum network. Founded in November 19, 2015 by Fabian Vogelsteller, it’s a set of rules Ethereum based tokens have to follow in order to be designed on Ethereum blockchain. The standard set the rules on how tokens will be programmed, stored, functioned and distributed to Ethereum based wallets. Some of the rules are optional, while others are required.

What is Ledger Live?
