So-called crypto experts Bitcoin 2020 price predictions
One of today’s so-called cryptocurrency experts making bitcoin 2020 price predictions become so after attending a one-hour seminar I did a few years ago in a 10 by 10 office pace in Atlanta, Georgia.
As the year 2019 is winding down, I feel compelled to outline the list of outrages bitcoin 2020 price predictions made by some of the world’s most influential people. From Twitter’s CEO to the founder of one of the most infamous & now-defunct dark web marketplace.
List of Bitcoin 2020 price predictions from influential people around the globe
December 10, 2019 – Silk Road’s founder, Ross Ulbricht: Predicted Bitcoin will reach $100,000 in 2020 on a medium post.
“They take a few days to get to me and a few days to get back and put up online, so everything you see is at least a week out of date. This is fine though because we will only be looking at large movements in the market on the scale of months, years and even decades.”
“Thus, we have a price and target for the end of wave I of ~$100,000 some time in or near 2020.”
Dec. 10, 2019 – Lightning Capital edge fund manager, Charles Hwang: Prophesied BTC price to be trading between $20,000-$50,000 in the year 2020 after Bitcoin Halving.
“Recently, many folks have noticed a pattern to these cycles linked to the bitcoin halving event that happens every 210,000 blocks or approximately every four years.”
“However, I also think the high price in the next bullish rally might exceed his prediction.”
Dec. 11, 2019 – Singapore-based hedge fund; Three Arrows Capital CEO, Su Zhu: Forecast BTC price to moon to $100,000 in 2020 during her interview Coinist Podcast.
“The model is aspirational. It’s good in that it does draw attention to the fact that Bitcoin has a predictable monetary policy that has consensus and also that [BTC] will get more scarce over time as opposed to less scarce. I think those are important ideas and are key to Bitcoin.
[Stock-to-flow] is not a scientific model. It may set up some people for over-leveraged positions, in fact, if they start to believe this is something they can trade off of. Because the reality is that people have to demand Bitcoin for the price to go up. That’s just the simple way the market works.
The number of people that believe in S2F has to go up or the number of people who buy Bitcoin for other reasons. But S2F on its own will not make the price go up. Those people, even if they put all their savings into Bitcoin, they still need other people to come to their belief system.”
BTC’s predictions for 2020 continued:

“I am more confident of $250,000 by 2022 or the first quarter of 2023 than I am of the prediction of $8,500 on December 31.”
“My prediction was really based on creating enough of an infrastructure for Bitcoin to get a 5% market share around the world, as a currency.”
Dec. 8, 2029 – Famed crypto trader, Peter Brandt: Believes BTC’s price will surge to $100k by the time 2020 ends.

“The SEC needs to punt the ETF until crypto becomes bigger, but demand for an ETF is monstrous.”
“Institutions aren’t going to touch crypto if they think the SEC isn’t doing a good job.”
“Graph the price of Bitcoin logarithmically, its trend is going to grow at 235% compound annual growth rate … And if you just extrapolate that line out for another year it’s $122,000 per Bitcoin and then one more year, $356,000.”
“But after 10 years of working well without interruption, with more than 60 million holders, adding more than 1 million new holders per month and moving more than $1 billion per day worldwide, it has a good chance of succeeding.”
